The exterior of Hillsview Clubhouse also receives some long overdue attention.


Designed to be elegant yet modest, the structure will compliment one of the finest courses in South Dakota - Hillsview Golf Course. The south patio provides more than 1,115 sq. ft. of outdoor space that is easily accessed from the course or the clubhouse.

The Hillsview Golf Course Advisory Board is committed to an aggressive fund raising campaign that seeks to raise capital and bring about completion of construction by Spring 2010.

Todd Surdez, Golf Course Manager

In his third season at Hillsview Golf Course, Todd recently received his golf instructor certification and is now enrolled in a master instructor course.

Todd and his family came to Pierre from the Northern Black Hills where he was the manager of the Belle Fourche Country Club for three years.



Dean Heymans, GCSAA

A 25-year member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, Dean has served as a past board member, vice-president, and president of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of South Dakota.

Dean is a Green Section Committee Member of the USGA. Dean has also been a 25-year member of the Nebraska Turfgrass Association.
